I was wondering what the added value of the Tempo plugin is compared to the work logging that is available by default in Jira?
Via team reports you can now also see who has logged what on the tickets.

Jira's built in time tracking provides very basic tracking and reporting functionality. It allows you to record time against an issue and report on time in a project. This provides an overall understanding of what it happening on a project and can be helpful in making decisions.
Tempo timesheets provides much more robust functionality and reporting. It provide a way to track billable time, understand utilization and capacity through reporting, you can see work across all projects, you can approve timesheets, allows you to understand the exact work that is happening (development, project management, UI, etc.), the list goes on. I would suggest installing it an using the demo to see everything that it has to offer. It is a very robust time tracking software that integrates into Jira and calendaring apps really well.
