Difference between Bug and Issue in JIRA.

Hi All,

 

JIRA have both option available while logging defect BUG and Issue.

what to choose.

Hi @Hari , welcome to the Community.

Jira uses "issue" as the generic term to represent any issue/ticket created. You can have many "types" of issues, e.g. Bug, Story, Task, Epic, Feature, etc...

this allows you to create a solution that fits your needs because you can define any type you wish.
