The Kanban Detail View for our JIRA instance is almost consistently unusable. When selecting it, it will pull in the real estate for itself and hang with a loading screen. It will never progress from the loading screen, this happens the majority of the time making the kanban board almost useless.

Are you able to check the Jira log file for any errors that correspond to the display time and post here?
I only see an audit log, which shows me the changes made in the instance from JIRA Settings>System>Troubleshootign and Support>Audit Log.

On cloud you'll need to ask support for the log file. I'd say you should report the performance issue to them as well as they are better placed to help. I know server better.
Is there a JQL query behind your kanban board? Does it perform as expected?
Does your kanban page display eventually if left to wait?

I submitted it as a performance issue now, the JQL works fine and quickly, the only problem is when you select an issue and wait for the detail pane. Sometimes its fast, sometimes is terribly slow, and sometimes it never loads. I will work with the cloud team on the next steps, appreciate the help.
