Hola @Carolina Tello ,

Hello,

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What have you tried so far for your automation?

Within Jira an Automation Rule cannot be triggered based on comparing two values. The rule has to be triggered by an event such as an issue being created, or updated. You could have a rule triggered by the changing of the Assignee field value, and then in that rule you could execute steps to compare the assignee of the subtask with the assignee of the parent task. And then you could have additional steps to execute if those values are different.

Trigger rule when the one assigned to the subtask is different from the one assigned to the main one

I'm trying to create a rule, where the trigger is that the person assigned to a subtask is different from the person responsible for the parent task.

I would appreciate if someone can help me find a solution for this since I have not been able to find a way.
