Hi- we're a system of schools. In my ticket, I created a dependent field for (umbrella) REGION, with respective SCHOOLS under each choice. On my Form, I have the REGION question, but --once I input a Region-- I can't get the Schools window/question to open up so I can select the correct School. How do I get this to work on my Form?
Hi Stephanie - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I assume this is a form on a Jira Software space (or Business space).. Is that correct or is it a Jira Service Management space?
What type of field/fields is it? A cascading pick list? Or two independent single pick lists? Can you share some screenshots?
John, thanks for the warm welcome and for writing back so quickly! It's a Jira Service Management space. Yep, a cascading pick list... if you select North Hills, a set of schools should pop up next. South Hills? different set of schools.
It looked awesome as I created the custom field but obviously I missed something along the way.... Screenshot attached. Thanks, again, John!

Okay thanks. Yes, when you do the initial list of values, you just input the value of North Hills and South Hills.
Once that is done, then you can click on the North Hills value in the configuration and then enter the schools.

So, just enter those two values, then you Edit the options. When you get the Edit options with just those two values, then you click on the value to edit the "children". There you enter the schools for that region.

John, thank you! I went back in this morning with fresh eyes and adjusted based on your advice -- it worked! Thanks a million!
