Delete Single Issue

I have admin permissions in Jira but cannot delete single issues. I've Googled answers and they all seem quite unclear about the process to do this. Can someone help me to understand how to delete single Jira issues please?

You need to go into the project permission scheme and look at the rule for "Delete issue".  Make sure you match the rule, either by being in the right roles/groups etc, or adding a new rule that you match (like "in the administrators group", or "single named person")

Take care though, delete is not something I recommend, as you can't get deleted issues back without a LOT of work.  It's generally better to close issues you want to delete, or move them to another project that's hidden from most users.
