Default issue types - bug issue type missing

Hi, 

I would like to include the "bug" issue type for my Jira project. 

This issue type was apparently used in the past, but it no longer appears to be available, and it's not present in the settings for the Issue Types. 

Should I add it as a common new issue type, or - since it was a default issue type, or is there a way to retrieve it and "activate" it again?

If it's no longer listed in the list of available issue types, you can simply re-create it as a standard/base issue type and select the corresponding icon.
