Hi all,
Is there a way to add default filters to a Jira Kanban board? Actually I just have some options on the board but I would like to extend this without using the quick filters. Quick filters don´t show a dropdown menue with multiple options to select.

Many thanks,

Hi Mieke-Kora,
No, this is the set of built in filters. Your best best is to use the Quick Filters.
Hello @John Funk , which built-in filters are available. I don't see the same filters in all boards. How we do to make all of them to appear?
Are you planning to have a projects one? This will be very helpful
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You can copy a board that has the filters you want, then just modify the board for the other things you need.

Depends on the project type - Company-managed, Team-managed? Jira Work Management? They're all different.

@John Funk is there a list of built-in filter and under which conditions do they automatically appear?

No there are no built-in Quick Filters per se. You would need to create a "template" board more or less with the desired Quick Filters and then copy the board to get a board where those already exist.

@John Funk I am not referring to quick filters. I am referring about the filters that appear that you pre-created. Like if you see my above comment on the screenshots.
You can see first screenshot where on "label" filter is shown. Second screenshot where "epic", "type and "Label" appear. Both board where created using the same template a kanban board.
My question is do you have a list of this built- in filters? And under which conditions do they show, as there is no menu to enable them. They just appear

I assume they show if you have issues that have labels or Epics on the board. That's what happens with which avatars of users show - it's the current user plus all users who are currently assigned at least one issue on the board.
