Deactivating Client Groups in JIRA

If you have set up a Client Group in JIRA with members and you have completed the project. Is there a way to Deactivate the Group as a whole with all the members? I know you can deactivate users individually, but looking at an easier way as we might need to activate the group again in future and therefore I don't want to delete the whole Client Group.

You can't desactivate a group, you can only desactivate a user in the UI. You can take a look at this selenium script and this question.
