Date format on issues not honouring Look and Feel settings

Requirement: All dates to be shown in dd/mm/yyyy format

Steps:

* Checked the formats on the 'Look and Feel' settings page, which look correct.

Unexpected result:

* Results from date picker 'date' fields still show in yyyy/mm/dd

I've googled around and am being led to Java documentation pages which is of little help. Hopefully I'm missing something and selecting the date format of a field is easier than it looks. Any help appreciated!

Hi Stuart,

This issue that you are facing is a bug and it happens only on the new issue view.
If you disable the new view (Profile picture > Personal settings > Jira Labs) and open the tickets through the Issues and filters > Search issues, you will see the date correctly.
