Database: JIRA couldn't connect to your database

I havent been able to connect to my Jira  for a week now and I keep getting the same response  - Database: JIRA couldn't connect to your database. Please help as \I dont know what to do.

If You talk about server try ask support team. Reason might be different:

- database down

- added new firewall rule

- changed configuration file (or in JIRA or in DB)
