If you use Jira to work on projects, how do you build relationships with clients? Do you use Google spreadsheets or an external CRM?

Actually, you don't need extra functionality - considering that all project information and customer referrals are inside Jira.

You can use Jira Service Management to help customers resolve their issues without creating a request by connecting your service management project to a knowledge base in Confluence. Customers can search in the customer portal and pages in the linked knowledge base space will be suggested, allowing customers to help themselves.
