Customer Notifications by Issue Type

I would like to send different notifications to the customer based on the Issue Type they have selected.

You would need to create different notification events for each issue type and replace the default notification event on the post function for the transitions you want to change.  You're also going to need to modify or create new templates for the events with the information you want. There may be a plugin in the marketplace but I'm not aware of one. It is going to be a lot of setup work if there isn't a plugin.
