Hello Dear Atlassian Community,
this is my first post, so please forgive my spelling ore the syntax :)
I'm an Atlassian tools Administrator for my company and we have a strange behavior with a custom field.
The customer field is deleted (cleared) whenever a ticket is modified through the edit ticket action!!
This should not happen, and no script is active.
Is this a general bug ore do I miss there something?

And congratulations on your first post!
I would look at the history for the field to see if there is an entry for the field being cleared, and who it says did that if there is an actual entry.
It might be that something is running either as another rule you are not aware of or that maybe a post function is firing somewhere. Though the later shouldn't happen on just an edit function.

Yes, that make totally sense. I'll check it, because (as far as I know) all the other projects, which are basically copied from this one, has this issue.
So maybe they inherited this post function.
