Custom report plugin without configure screen

I am trying to create a custom report plugin. Is there a way to not have configure screen (not even with just next and cancel buttons) as well as hide/remove "Configure" button on report page?

Also if having a custom report plugin without configure screen is not possible then is it possible to bypass this page when user runs my report from reports area and only make it visible when user clicks configure later from report page?

I am facing the same "issue", as I want to my users skip the configuration page. Is that posible?
