Custom filed on a project

Hello,

i would like to create a custom field for each project that in my mind it's the unique numeric ID of project.

I would like also to define ad Automation Rules that auto-increment this numeric value for each new project that i will create.

It' possibile? And if yes, how i can perform this?

I'd question why you want to do this.  Your project key is already a unique identifier and does not need you to do any maintenance or scripting to support it.  It's also more useful than an arbitrary number.

There is not native support for creating fields at the project level. There is a change request that mentions some third party apps that might help.
