Custom field - auto complete - from SIL script (external API)

On our JIRA self hosted Server, we have a custom field – dropdown with autocomplete that is populated from a SIL script. This is powered by Power Custom Fields at present.

We have migrated and installed the relevant app on Cloud, but there are now no options inside Custom Fields that allow for SIL scripts / autocomplete dropdowns.

This is a critical function for our operations, and we need to have a dropdown menu populated by a remote API (via SIL script).

The developer of Power Custom Fields said that Atlassian would not allow them to port this functionality.

Can anyone please tell me if Atlassian has an alternative solution for us to meet this requirement. Please, hope, hope there is a solution.
