I want to add a custom default project avatar? How can I do that?

I dont think this is possible through any of the configuration screens. You could possibly just change the images that are used which is under {JIRA_DIR}/atlassian-jira/WEB-INF/classes/avatars. These should be rocket.png, medium_rocket.png and small_rocket.png. As long as they have the same name, your default image should change but it is a bit of a hack rather than a configuration change.

Thank you, that works!
