For our access controls we the ability to create a custom project administrator that has all the permissions of the stand administrator, but cannot add or remove users from the project. However, after reading the documentation and reviewing different items I cannot see how this can be accomplished. For background we are using JIRA 7.4 with a User Directory of a LDAP Server for group management and assigning access through LDAP Groups and custom project permissions.
You can't do this. You would need to rewrite the permission system code in the core of Jira.
Okay is there anyway to provide a lower user the ability to change versions? Or is that not possible either?
