Custom Fields from Advanced Roadmaps (e.G. parent) cannot be included in JIRA screens

Hi,

we are using JIRA version 8.20.1 in which Advanced Roadmaps are already included.
If I create a plan I can set target start and end and also link an epic to an initiative. As you can see here.

However, in the screen view I cannot add the custom fields target start, target end or parent (link). These fields seem not to be included in the custom fields.

Hi @Stefanie 

The custom fields should exist - you can check as a Jira Admin:

1. Go to Jira Settings > Issues
2. Select Custom Fields from the left-hand menu
3. Check if fields like Target Start, Target End, Parent Link, and Team exist

They'd still need to be added to your Screens though if you want to use them on Issues - so you'll need to update your Screens with them!
