Ctrl-e on MacOS in Code field goes to end of the code block, not end of line

In Chrome on MacOS using Jira: when you:

1. open a new issue
2. go to the Description
3. create a code block with three backticks,
4. include a few lines of code,
5. close the code block with three backticks
6. navigate to the second line of code and
7. press ctrl-e:

• You'll be taken to the bottom of the code block.

The expected behaviour is:

• To be taken to the end of the line.

Is this supposed to be this way?

Hello, Good day. Noticed similar issue has been addressed in https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72173. You are noticing same issue again?
