Creation of a new and another project on my account

Hello ,

I am running already a Team Project in Jira , but I want to create a new Team Project to run in paralele for another team . I don't want to mess with other projects but when I am checking I can access other projects and I am not sure if is a template or if I am disturbing the work of others. When I want to create it does not let me create a scratch new just to select from existing ones ( other projects ).

How did you get the current project created? Did you do that yourself, or get help from a Jira Administrator?

If you got help from a Jira Administrator, ask them for help again.

You may have access to create a Team Managed project for yourself. If you do, you will see a Create Project button on the View All Projects page.

When you click that button you will then see a list of project templates. Choose the appropriate template and continue through the wizard to complete creation of a new project. 

This will create an entirely new project, not modify any existing project.

The use of a template will set some basic project configuration such as issue types and workflows, which can be customized after the project creation is completed.

Could you please confirm if the earlier team managed project was created by you ?

To try out a team-managed project:

1. Choose Projects > Create project

2. In Choose project type > click Select team-managed

3. Under Template, select Change template and choose either Scrum or Kanban

An option to Create project is also available in the top-right corner when you view all projects.

All users can create a team-managed project, even non-admins. Jira admins can restrict creation of team managed by removing users from this permission .Create team-managed projects permission. For more information on global permissions, see Managing global permissions
