Creating trends dashboard for custom fields (week over week changes)

Hi there! I created some custom fields at the epic level and am trying to create a dashboard report that shows week over week changes for those custom fields. For example, I have a "confidence level" field that I would like to show (ideally in a graph or with trend lines) how we are tracking across all epics week over week. I have tried a few different options but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Hi @Andrea Palm -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Trying to access the issue history for custom fields (i.e. plot over time), it is unlikely you will find any out-of-the-box dashboard gadgets to help.

Two possible work-arounds are:

• investigate the Atlassian marketplace for addon dashboard gadgets (free or paid) or better reporting than what Jira provides for custom fields
• investigate the REST API to gather issue history, and build your own application to pull the data and plot it
