Hello everyone,
I'm trying to create two statistics in Jira or in Confluence.
One should show the amount of issues created monthly over a year and the other one should show a statistic of issues created per day.
I have already created a statistic (using the Confluence macro chart) that looks like I want it to, but I have to enter the data manually:
Is there a way to create those two statistics automatically with the number of issues generated in a board in Jira?
(I do not want to create a statistic about resolved and unresolved issues / their status)
Thanks a lot
Hi @Thomas M and welcome to the community,
Although I saw that this ticket refers to the server version of Jira, I would assume that it will be the same as Jira Cloud. Short answer to your question, as you put it, is "no".
You can't have this exact representation of your issues. You could use the "recently created" diagram, which will distinguish the resolved/unresolved, but its representation will be very close (created vs resolved will do the trick as well).
But in order to get that exact result, you need an app. Search for a free like this one https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/288/jira-charting-plugin?hosting=server&tab=overview
I also think that the Created vs Resolved gadget will be very close to his needs, and if it is, maybe there is no need to complate it further.

Hi @Alex Koxaras -Relational- , I think I already tried this option aswell, and I got this result:
Is that correct?

@Aron Gombas _Midori_ yes, it will do the trick as I mentioned here:

@Thomas M I can't tell you if that's correct, since it depends on the filter you've chosen. I mean you have to make sure that you have chosen the appropriate filter, so as to include all issues. A cross check between the diagram you created and the one you had manually on confluence will ensure how to read it properly. But in my opinion you are on a right path.
Try that free app as well. It might be handy and yield the exact results you want.

Hi @Thomas M ,
We can also suggest trying our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.
Its Chart from Table macro supports the Jira Issues macro and you'll be able to create live Jira dashboards right in Confluence.

Hi @Katerina Kovriga _Stiltsoft_ , what do you mean by "live"? I still have to add the data manually, right?

I mean that the macro catches all the information from the Jira Issues macro - if something is updated in Jira, the changes will be immediately reflected on the dashboard.
