Creating an Issue

Hello, we have IBM Notes Mailbox and we want to create an issue for each and every mail which comes to that mailbox 

Summary should be the subject of the mail 

Description should be the mail Contents(body of the mail)

Can you please help how that can be achieved ?

Jira can create email that arrives in a POP3 or IMAP mailbox, or from files that get put in a directory it can see.

Last time I used Notes, it didn't have any functions that provide the standard mailboxes (properly), so you couldn't do that.

You'll need to do one of:

• Write a connector in Jira that can pull the "mail" from Notes
• Write something in Notes that can push the "mail" into a proper mailbox on POP3 or IMAP
• Write something in Notes that can push the "mail" into files that Jira can read and process locally
