I need to use jira for a project that has multiple teams working on different workstreams. I have got started by creating a project (classic) with multiple teams and their associated board by using a Component per team, so when adding stories to the backlog these are assigned to the teams using their component. We currently have one backlog and a sprint and board per team.

My question is relating to creating Version Report (release burn up) in Jira.  Ideally we would have a version report per Team/Component. Does anyone know if it would be possible to have multiple Version reports in Jira in one project?

I'm sorry no-one had a suggestion for you before.

Your setup sounds good to me, but you've run into the one problem with it - no, you cannot have multiple version reports in a project.  Jira projects assume the version is across the entire project, you can't limit the report.

But, you could create dashboards to do something similar - most gadgets rely on a filter, so you could create filters including "component = x" and have a gadget reporting on that, then another with "component = y" and use the same gadget but the new filter.
