Creating a ticket in another project via a screen in the current workflow/project

Dear Atlassian community,

We are using a work flow which one of the transitions triggers opening a screen for creating a ticket in another project.
The problem we are facing is that one of the fields does not get transferred properly. This field is mutual between both projects since both use the same screen to create a ticket.

By default only the first option gets into the form eventhough we choose other options all the time.
Also there is an unwanted option None as well which make it worse.

Is there anything that in your opinion can alleviate this issue?

Have you check the Context set for the field? Maybe it is set differently between the two projects.
