Traceid : 8a7a2126e7f946e8b3be271f92f86fe3

My company is new to Jira. I am trying to create a new free account. When i provide the axi8one.atlassian.net below is the error.

Something went wrong on our end. Please try again. If this keeps happening, contact support. (Issue ID for Atlassian use: Trace ID: 8a7a2126e7f946e8b3be271f92f86fe3).

Kindly advice how to go about.

Hi @Srinath Sonti

If you are getting “Something went wrong on our end” during site creation, and you already have a Trace ID, that usually points to a platform-side signup failure rather than a problem with the site name itself.

Atlassian’s docs show that:
- if a site name is already taken, you normally get a specific “name already in use” style message
- if the name is available, you should see a green check and be allowed to continue

So if you are seeing only the generic failure with a Trace ID, I would not keep retrying the same path indefinitely.

What I would do next:
1. keep the Trace ID
2. try one more time in a clean browser/incognito session
3. if it still fails, use that Trace ID when reaching Atlassian through support escalation because it suggests an internal provisioning error rather than a naming issue

Hello @Srinath Sonti

There’s currently an active incident that may also be affecting user creation.
