Hi All,
I am having a challenge creating a workstream on my Jira.
I am not a system admin but I am an admin of the Project created for me by the Jira support in my company.
I want to be able to create different workstreams and upload sub-projects within Jira.
Is there a way I can create a workstream on Jira even without admin support?
There is no term or feature like workstream in Jira. What is a workstream for you? Is it a Value Stream? or team or pod or projects? How are these workstream going to work with each other? Are these working on a common feature?
There could be different ways to do that in Jira - it could be one project for each work stream or one project with different components.
Most likely it is not going to be difficult because Jira is quite configurable tool and once your definition of workstream is clear then Jira can most likely support your way of working.

Hi Ravi,
Thanks for your response The workstream in this case is a series of projects that contains my project milestones .
I have basically been tasked to Create a project on Jira using the Workstreams and to add on the project milestones.
May be I am not asking the right questions or I am stuck on how to go about this.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Well you can create a project in Jira (if you have rights) or ask your system admin.
Series of project and project milestones - need a bit more context on this but may be you need one project with multiple Epics.
