Create number of sub-tasks based on "multi choice select" custom field?

I have a custom field called "Environment" of type "select list (multiple choices)". This field is filled in my Service Request issuetype. Now I want to create a number of sub-tasks via post-function, based on the number of choices selected in the custom field "Environment". So if I choose 2 environments, I create 2 sub-tasks and if I choose 3 environments, I create 3 sub-tasks. Is that possible? Thanks for the help!

You can use Create in transition add-on in order to create sub-tasks based on conditions. Please see the link How to create multiple issues which shows some example on how to set the conditions for creating multiple sub-tasks.
