Create link to external source

Im trying to figure out a solution for the following problem:

Past a link to the description field, which refers on a image/ source and not the URL because its a dynamic content.

You can't out of the box. The text fields don't resolve URLs. There may be a plugin that does this. I suggest searching the marketplace
