Hi @Omer Kadari and welcome to the Community!

You should be able to update your existing workflow, create a new workflow and associate it with the issue type you are trying to create, update permissions where necessary, ...

If you want us to help you, can you be more specific about the problem you are experiencing? There is no such thing as a create workflow, you don't mention any details about any conditions, validators or post functions in your create transition. Which versions are you talking about and why do you mention appfire in your question?

Don't worry, we're happy to help here. But do provide more details if you want some useful advice 😉

Aha, that's useful information!

Cloud is indeed a totally different platform. You may want to check first if you can't replace the app functionality with the native automation in Jira cloud.

It should not be to difficult to create an automation rule with the following components:

  • trigger: issue transitioned (you can specify to what status)
  • conditions: (optional: lets you restrict the rule to run only when certain conditions are met)
  • action: create issue (you can set the fields you want at this point)

To familiarise yourself with the possibilities, it may be interesting to check out the template library
