I need help creating the jira's access groups, and put a security lock so that users see the projects just assigned to their groups.

I could  create the groups, but everyone sees all the projects

How can i do that?

tks

Hi Henrique,

This is more related to Project Roles than Groups.
Only administrators are able to see all projects and users with standard permissions, like jira-servicedesk-users, jira-software-users, jira-users, for example, will only be able to see projects if an admin adds them in a project role in the desired project.

If there are users that are seeing projects they were not supposed to see, you must check their groups and roles.

Also, please go to the project settings and check the permissions to see if the "Browse projects" is not set to "Anyone".

Here is some documentation that may help you:

Managing project roles

Permissions overview

Managing project permissions

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Angélica
