Create folders in documents library from Jira

I wanted to create a folder or copy folder structure based on JIRA workflow. So everytime a new ticket comes in, a folder has to be created in the document library and when the ticket moves to a particular workflow status, based on another field a corresponding folder structure is copied to the earliar created folder. Possible?

You should be able to use a post-function that can check for an existing directory in a system and create a new one if it's missing.  You'll need to write some code for it.  I would, as usual, use the Script Runner to do it.
