We currently use a Kanban board to manage our workflow, currently our kanban has both issuetypes of  stories and features, we would like to separate this out for two reasons: Stories are more for us to use daily to breakdown and track tasks, Features are larger pieces of work and we need to track the progress overall in terms of completion.

Hence i have created two kanbans, one we use on weekly for stories and tasks and a second that i intend to track only the Features issue type.

Currently i am not able to setup a filter or even a swimlane with JQL to filter only for features, i have tried issuetype = Feature but this does not show anything on the board.

Hello,

In your kanban board by going on Configure > Column you will see a toggle button named "Epics Panel" : "Display epics in a panel in the backlog, and not as cards on the board."

Normally if this toggle is unchecked, epics will appear as cards on the board.

If this is not working I would suggest you to try also Configure > Swimlanes > Base Swimlanes on Epics. Each US will be linked to its Epics, by swimlane. By opening the swimlane you will see the progress of the entire epics.

Hope it will helps!
