Create custom filters for next-gen projects

Hi all,

I would like to create a custom filter/grouping so that issues could be sorted per label type - for example an Epic might affect several functional areas and I would like to label these different areas and filter on that label. Is this possible to set up for next-gen projects?

@Karzo, you can certainly create a filter for a NG project and can include Labels. Have you attempted and been unsuccessful? You JQL would look something like this...

project = mynextgen and labels in (a,b,c)

now if you are asking if you can change the default NG board using this filter then no this cannot be done. You could however create a new Kanban board based upon your filter.

Hi Jack,

I added a check box with options into my Epic issue type to similar the "Component" capability. Do you know if I can add a custom filter for my check box options?
