Create automation for request for vacation

Hi. We use jira software with Tempo Timesheet. We need to track request for vacations. We think that have one specific proyect like Absences assigned to all the users, and with some task like holidays, sick, study, etc.

We need to create automation that if user log a task in that project, notify a supervisor that approve task. Is it possible with Automation? 

Example user A insert a log in project Absences, with start date and end date, and task notify user B(Supervisor).

If person B approve, then task appear in a board of calendar.

We would appreciate if someone can help us with how to define automation por that.
