Create and edit of issues is not possible

We have a problem with creating and editing issues in JIRA. The button "create" cannot be used - the system does not react anymore. The same effect occurs when pushing the "edit"-button in the detail view of an issue. The creation of issues can only be done in the product backlog or in structure.

The observation is independeant from user or project.

Do you maybe have a bit more information?

• Has the system been recently updated?
• Any plugins that have been updated from when it worked?
• Do you see anything in the log when click create or edit?
• Is this on all browsers?
• Can you open the Developer Console (on maybe Chrome, hit F12) and see if you have any errors there?
