Bit of Background
We've been using a Board set up by a colleague who no longer works for the business to manage our Sprints.
As part of our current process our Developers work on BAU activities in our sprints and that's how we manage the resource on what they can work on in any 2 weeks. We're a very small team!
We're looking at ways to improve our processes and we have decided to trial using a Kanban Board for a BAU activity alongside our sprint (mainly used for project work) so that Developers can flip between the two.
The problem
I'm trying to add a new Board (well I believe it's a Board...as we have a number of projects within it) which is owned and managed by me but I'm not sure how to do this.
The sprint Board we're currently using shows me the Board settings and active sprints but I can't see this in the new one I've set up.

I can't seem to replicate it whereby I can create the above instead owned by me.
I've tried creating 'Boards' and 'Projects'. I've noticed after setting up a new project I don't see the grey star next to it (see screenshot)

To confirm I am a Site Admin.
Basically I want to copy the board so I own it but I don't know how. When I found the 'copy dashboard' option it still has the previous colleague's profile picture next to it.
Help needed
Can anyone help me with the steps I need to take where I can;-
1) Set up a sprint board that mirrors what we currently have which will have multiple projects in - (I know I can amend the filer to enable this).
Thanks in advance
Jodie
You can copy the existing Board, although it would be another Scrum Board:
^ Just to note - this does not duplicate the filter, so if the filter should differ to the existing board, you'll need to create a new one and apply it to the board, rather than modifying the existing one.

Or, you can create a whole new board instead (which could be Kanban or Scrum):
