In our company we have both the Jira Data Center and the Jira Cloud instances. We have project teams that are on either system.
I need to keep a repository of Stories that can be added into a project on either instance of Jira (Cloud or Data Center).
We also have Confluence Cloud, and Service Now.
1. My thoughts were to host my Stories in a project in Jira Data Center. Then teams can clone them to their Jira projects (Data Center or Cloud). Is this possible?
2. If not, my next thought was to host my Stories on in a project in Jira Cloud. Then teams can clone them to their Jira projects (Data Center or Cloud). Is this possible?
3. If not, my next thought was to host the details of each story in Confluence Cloud. Then teams can create the Story from the Confluence into their Jira projects (Data Center or Cloud). Is this possible?
4. If not, my next thought was to host the details of each story in ServiceNow. Then teams can create the Story from the ServiceNow into their Jira projects (Data Center or Cloud). Is this possible?
5. If not, my next thought was to host the details of each story on a webpage, SharePoint list, or even Excel. Then teams can create the Story from the ServiceNow into their Jira projects (Data Center or Cloud). Is this possible?
Or, are there any other options?
Hello @Shawn Motard
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The first step is to establish connectivity between your Cloud apps and your Jira DC system.
Have you created an Application Tunnel between your Cloud environment and you Jira DC system, and application links between your Cloud applications and the Jira DC system?
