Click on Create Project.
Presents list of project templates.
Used to have option to Create with a shared configuration from an existing project.
This option is no longer visible.
Is there some other way to accomplish this?
I am an Atlassian Cloud Admin for my company.
Hello @UIC SWE Dept Manager
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
The Shared Configuration option will be available only when you elect to create a Company Manages (versus Team Managed) project. Most project templates can be used to generate either type of project. Only Company Managed projects can share configurations.
Sometimes Jira automatically chooses the Team Managed project type for you.
On the screen where you enter the name for the new project look for a Show more link. Expand that to see and change the project creation between Team Managed and Company Managed.
Hello.
Welcome to community :)
If you are creating a team-managed project and want the configuration as per a already existing team managed project this is not possible in standard or premium plans.
Custom business and software project templates for both team-managed and company-managed projects are now available in Jira Enterprise! You can now clone team-managed projects by saving them as templates.
You can find more details here.
For company managed project the screenshot shared by Trudy should help here.
Thank You,
Prachi
