Create Issue action/link missing from board

Hi All,

I have reviewed similar questions in this forum but not found a solution to my problem.

I am using the free version of JIRA and recently found that the "+ Create Issue" link on my board disappeared it was their previously.

- I can create an issue using the Create button

- I did recently modify my workflow to include the Story issue type which we previously didn't have. However, I have one workflow that supports all the issue types. And not sure if it disappeared since then.

- I don't have any special filters.

- While I am grouping by Epic it is the same when I don't group.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I see that you are using a Kanban board with the Backlog activated.

Is this for a Company Managed project or a Team Managed project?

When you create an issue using the Create button do you see an option in the dialog to set the status of the issue?

Do you have more than one status value mapped to the first column?
