Create Issue Type Options

When I create a new Issue, using the option underneath the backlog, the only options for Issue Type are Bug and Task. I want this dropdown to have Bug, Task, Epic, and Story. Our default Issue Type is Story.

Here is what the Issue Type Scheme looks like for this Project.

I've looked all over the Project Settings, but I can't find any place to change this.

Hello Lucas,

The limited number of issue types is only occurring when you try to create it directly from the backlog view or also when you use the + button?

I would check two possibilities:

1 - Check if your board filter is not restricting your board to only display bugs and Tasks. You can check it by clicking on the three dot icon (...) > Board settings > General > Check the filter and sub-filter configuration. 

2 - Confirm if the issue types are properly mapped to a valid workflow in the project settings > Workflow page.
