I am an Org Admin. Is it possible to include a count of the Work Items (WIs) / Issues returned for each Filter on the Filters screen itself? When we offboard employees, I create a Filter of all Open WIs for that user so that it's easy to identify [1] In Progress WIs that need to be flipped to a different Status, and [2] to allow for a Manager / Supervisor to reassign anything critical or urgent.
As a user, it would be beneficial to have the option to view the count of WIs returned for the Filter in question, especially when needing to view many within a particular list (per a keyword search, Owner, Project, etc.).
I checked Atlassian's Jira Cloud Jira list and I didn't see this as a feature request or anything else. I also can't add a new item myself, so starting with the Community. Thanks!

Hi Trudy - I appreciate the reply. Yes, I meant the list of Filters. I am interested in having the count of WIs listed on that screen for every Filter. I am aware that I can view each Filter to see the count at the bottom ... that just isn't helpful for my use case when I'm reviewing 20+ Filters at a time.
I am an Org Admin and Jira Admin, so I'll suggest this as an improvement. Thanks again.
Hey @Dave Buitenhek ,
Welcome to Atlassian community!
When you open a filter, Jira displays the total number of issues at the top of the results. You may use Jira Dashboard Gadgets to get the count of the work fetched by filter and grouped by Assignee.
Use the “Filter Results” gadget or “Issue Statistics” gadget on a dashboard.
These gadgets can display the count of issues for each filter or group by assignee, status, etc.
You can create a dashboard with multiple gadgets, each referencing a different filter, to see counts at a glance.
Hope this helps!

Hello @Dave Buitenhek
Can you provide a screen image of the screen you are referring to when you say "the Filters screen itself"? Are you referring to the screen that lists the filters at this URL?
<your base url>t/jira/filters
Options you have for suggesting a change to Atlassian:
When you execute a saved Filter or ad-hoc filter the count of returned issues does show in the bottom right corner of the results in the List view
In the Details view it shows in the bottom left corner.

I suspect that this would be a difficult feature to implement. Providing that number would require actually executing each of those filters.

These are all fair points, Trudy. This is my two cents (without putting in a ton of thought):
