Hi Team,
We have a Jira project running with one large team.
This is the link to that board:
However, we would like to copy that board to two similar Jira boards.
Half of the collagues will work with copy 1 and half with copy 2. We would like to start using the new copies as soon as possible.
After copying, we will each go our own way.
How can i achieve this. Please suggest.
I must admit that this is probably not what you are looking for as I also do not fully understand the intention but in case you just want to copy a board (probably more times) so you just do not have to start from scratch this is possible.
The documentation on this can be found here:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-board/#Copy-an-existing-board
Otherwise, like Jack said please provide us some context - somebody from Community then will be likely able to tell more.
Regards,
Daniel
This is confusing to me. Issues belong to projects and boards are visual representations of queries. So what displays on the board is simply dictated by the underlying query defining the board. If you want issues to appear on multiple boards then the query simply needs to ensure that that happens. Please note, that any action that happens on an issue on one board will drive changes on the other board according to the board layout.
Please help me better understand what’s your goal is.
