Converting from Task to Subtask increases Burndown

Hi,

I converted some Jira tasks to subtasks to group them under stories during a sprint, and the burndown has dramatically increased.

It looks like the subtasks have been logged as 'Issue added to sprint', adding their estimates to the 'inc' column, but estimates for the original tasks have not been removed.

Is there a way of correcting this?

Hi Mark,

I just had the same problem. Even if you replace the points on the original task with a 0, when you convert them into subtasks, the points are being added to the burndown. It really screwed up my sprint... The solution I found was adding a 0 to the tasks you want to convert, link them to the "main" task. It's not a proper solution, but it's better than nothing.
Did you find a better way?
