Connecting to github, not seeing github -> jira

Hi,

I am trying to set up jira with our github team. I have successfully been able to install the apps on both sides. When I edit or create an issue with a JIRA tag, the bot will create a link to the relevant JIRA issue. But, in the other direction, there is no links to the github issue/commit in JIRA.

How can I debug this further?

I understand you have configured the integration with Github as explained in below page but I am not sure I understand what is not working:

Can you kindly point to the functionality that does not work as expected in above documentation?
