Hey, I'm trying to setup an integration/connector to Replit, but it keeps saying Access Denied.

Anyone else encountered this?

There are two ways to connect Replit and Jira, and "Access Denied" has different causes for each:

If using the "Replit+ for Jira" Marketplace app (by Apps+):
The "Access Denied" error for cloud apps typically means the app requires access to products or permissions you don't have. Per Access Denied error for cloud app | Jira and Jira Service Management | Atlassian Support:

  • Try the app in incognito mode — if it works there, clear your browser cache.

  • Verify your site has all products the app requires (e.g., it may need both Jira Software and Jira Service Management access). If you're missing a product, add it on a Free subscription.

  • If your org uses an IP allowlist (Atlassian Guard / Jira Premium), the app's outgoing connections from Atlassian Forge infrastructure may be blocked. Add the IP addresses and domains for Atlassian cloud apps | Atlassian Support to your allowlist.

The app's vendor (Apps+) also provides direct support at support@appsplus.co. Replit+ for Jira | Atlassian Marketplace

If using Replit's native Jira Connector (inside Replit's Project Editor):
Replit lists Jira as a supported Connector. The "Access Denied" here likely means the OAuth consent flow wasn't completed properly, or the user's Replit role doesn't have sufficient permissions. Per Replit's integration docs: sign in once on the Connectors page, ensure your OAuth scopes include Jira read/write, and check that your Replit org role is at minimum Editor (Viewers cannot configure connectors).
