Connected apps update procedure

I have some connected apps that seem to require an update.

I used to execute updates when administering Jira on server myself.

How does this work on Cloud though? Are there any documented procedures or articles on Best Practices? 🤔

Hey @Ward Schwillens_ Schwillie,

 Currently, manual updates are still required for "major" changes:

A Connect app requires a manual update only when the app descriptor changes in a way that affects scopes, modules, or data access. A preview of those changes should appear when starting the update dialogue.

Minor updates or bug fixes are rolled out automatically, eliminating the need for manual updates.

For Forge apps, the behaviour is similar regarding manifest changes.
