I am having some problems with the configuration for Tenable plugin with JIRA.

My Tenable.sc is sitting in the same network with JIRA.

I have encountered the following:- There is a SSL Handshake issue between JIRA and Tenable.sc address.

Apparently, my JIRA server and Tenable.sc are both https enabled.

I even tried to verify the connectivity from JIRA server to Tenable.sc using SSLPoke.

Any idea how can I go about it?

There is a connection problem somewhere.  I would start by checking the username/password combination (as I regularly mis-key passwords), and then the rest of the connection data on that config page.

Then I would ask the administrators of Jira to look at the application logs - these should record the response from Tenable.sc when you try to save or sync.  That response (hopefully) contains the detail of any failure.

Thanks Nic. How about using the verify SSL since both of my server are https enabled? How do I go about it? I am pretty sure that my credentials are typed correctly.

Ok, the tests on SSL that you have added to your question show that you can connect via SSL, so the next step is to look at the logs to see what the response from Tenable.sc is when you try to connect.
